The first in-person technical meeting of the Electro-Intrusion project was held from 12 to 15 October in Katowice, Poland, at the University of Silesia and involved all partners of the project: CIC EnergiGUNE, University of Ferrara, National Techical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsy Kyi Polytechinc Institute", University of Silesia, University of Birmingham, Tenneco. This live meeting among the partners not only allowed to share opinions, comments and suggestions on the various technical and scientific aspects of the project, it also to get the researchers of the various team to know each other, consolidating relationships. During the event the progress of the project was discussed, focusing on the analysis of the results obtained so far and discussing in detail the next steps of each WP. In particular, the comparison between theoretical and experimental results allowed to design some strategy to maximize the current extracted from triboelectrification induced by liquid intrusion/extrusion. Moreover, experimental strategies to accurately measure intrusion/extrusion heat in experiments as well as in simulations were revised by all scientists of the project.
