HPC Italian Grant-CINECA IscraB Project

Two Unife members won the Italian HPC "CINECA-IscraB project" grants for computational resources on Eur/HPC LEONARDO Supercomputer.

The winning IscraB projects entitled "HERMOSA-Hydrophobic MOF+watER system as a Mechanical battery: intrusiOn/extruSion mechAnism by advanced molecular simulations” and “MESTRINO-Mechanism Exploiting Solid-liquid TRIboelectrification for NanOgenerators” consist of 1 million computing cores/hours on the LEONARDO Supercomputer, currently the world's fourth best computer according to the top 500 list, corresponding to a value of 100.000 EUR/Year each.
